What’s this event about?
At the event we will provide insights into entrepreneurship as well as the specific topic of Fintech:
Fintech sits at the intersection of finance and technology, two historically male-dominated industries. This reduces the pipeline of women with the experience, network, or confidence to found fintech startups, which highlights the need for fostering women’s inclusion in such startups
Also, did you know that women still face major financial gaps compared to men?
On average, women earn less, save less, and invest less — not due to lack of interest or ability, but because of systemic barriers like the wage gap, career interruptions, and lower financial confidence. These factors contribute to lower long-term wealth and greater financial insecurity, especially in retirement.
Join our event to learn more about:
- the challenges and opportunities for women in the fintech startup industry
- the root causes of financial gaps, from financial literacy to investing behavior, and why bridging them is key to achieving real economic equality.
- challenges faced by founders, irrespective of gender and industry
- and simply, to learn what you can do to take better control of your money
Get inspired by our invited speakers as they come together to share their innovative ideas and to discuss the challenges and opportunities of founding and working in a start-up (in the Fintech sector).
