MODULE 2 IN LUCERNE

DESCRIPTION

You will gain insights into the world of entrepreneurship while strengthening your entrepreneurial mindset and skills. You will follow the path from an initial idea to a full business concept and prepare—both theoretically and practically—for various leadership roles in a startup or for founding your own company.

This course equips you with essential skills for startup success. We encourage you to take the exciting step toward launching your own venture. After completing the course, you will understand the key characteristics, responsibilities, and decision-making areas of entrepreneurship. You will be able to identify central topics as well as the resources required to support an idea and enable a promising entrepreneurial activity.

Module 2a.1 Pivoting the idea:

In two evening sessions, ideas are put to the test with the support of experts and extended user testing. Throughout the process, participants develop resilience—one of the most important traits for founder success. These two sessions are integrated into the Business Concept module.

LOCATION LUCERNE

„Smart-up – successfully implementing ideas“ is a program of Lucerne University of Applied Sciences. Its goal is to motivate and empower students, employees and alumni to implement their business ideas and start their own start-up. Founders receive support from smart-up in the form of individual coaching and advice, infrastructure, matching with other students and external stakeholders as well as workshops and events. In addition, students can use their studies as a start-up toolbox and generate valuable synergies between their studies and their business by writing their project papers or bachelor thesis on the topic of their own start-up and acquiring relevant entrepreneurial skills through specific modules. In this context, the module 2 «Business Concept» in Lucerne will also be offered.
